About Commandos-app/Commandos
Commandos is a Git client designed primarily for managing multiple repositories simultaneously, though it works equally well with single repositories. Built with TypeScript and Tauri, it allows developers to execute Git commands across multiple repos at once, such as creating branches, merging, or running other operations in batch. This streamlines workflows where developers need to synchronize actions across several projects.
The application is currently available only on Windows, with plans to expand to macOS and Linux upon reaching version 1.0. The project uses Yarn for dependency management and Rust as part of its Tauri-based desktop framework. Commandos is open source under the MIT license and welcomes community contributions through its GitHub repository, which was active during Hacktoberfest 2022.
