About Coolapk-UWP/Coolapk-Lite
Coolapk Lite is a third-party client for Coolapk, a popular Chinese Android app community platform, built as a lightweight Universal Windows Platform (UWP) application. The project is written in C# and provides an alternative way to access Coolapk content on Windows devices rather than relying solely on the official mobile app.
The application runs on Windows 10 Build 10240 and later, supporting ARM, ARM64, x86, and x64 architectures. Users can install it either through the Microsoft Store or by sideloading the application package manually using PowerShell installation scripts or the built-in Windows app installer. The installation process requires managing certificates and dependencies, with at least 200MB of free storage space needed for the full installation.
The project depends on several open-source libraries including QRCoder for QR code generation, MetroLog for logging, Bcrypt.Net for cryptographic operations, Newtonsoft Json for JSON processing, and the Windows Community Toolkit for UI components. The development team credits several previous Coolapk client projects and contributors who helped establish the foundation for this UWP implementation.
