About SubnauticaModding/QModManager

QModManager is a config-based patch management system for Subnautica and Subnautica: Below Zero, written in C#. It provides the core infrastructure that allows mods to be installed and managed within these games by handling patch application through configuration files rather than requiring manual code modifications.

The project supports installation across multiple distribution channels including Thunderstore and Nexus Mods, with separate builds maintained for each game version. Mods are installed into a dedicated QMods directory where each mod occupies its own folder, and the system includes support for multi-player compatibility through Nitrox by allowing individual mods to declare their compatibility status.

QModManager serves as a foundational tool for the Subnautica modding community, with active support and documentation provided through the project's Discord server and wiki. The project enables developers to create and distribute mods more easily while providing players with a straightforward installation and management system for game modifications.
