About d4rken/fpv-dvca

FPV DVCA is an unofficial Android companion app for DJI's Digital FPV System that enables pilots to view live video feeds from their FPV goggles on an Android device. Users connect their phone or tablet directly to DJI Goggles v1 or v2 via USB to stream the video feed in real time.

The app supports several advanced features including simultaneous viewing from up to two pairs of goggles in horizontal or landscape orientation for multiplayer scenarios. It includes a built-in DVR recording capability that can capture footage both while the app is in the foreground and background, with support for recording from multiple goggle pairs simultaneously. The app also offers a VR mode for immersive viewing experiences.

Developed in Kotlin for the Android platform, this project emerged from community reverse-engineering efforts to unlock the USB communication protocol with DJI's goggles. The development was initiated by the fpv-wtf group who discovered the underlying technical specifications, and the project is maintained by an active FPV community with a public Discord server for user discussion and support.
