Layar Kosong is an automated static site generator designed to make blogging and content publishing effortless. The project serves as a template repository that allows users to fork it, write articles as HTML files, and have them automatically deployed to Cloudflare Pages through GitHub Actions. Users simply place their HTML articles in designated folders, commit to the repository, and the system handles the rest—processing, optimizing, and publishing the content instantly.
The project features sophisticated automation powered by TypeScript and Bun.js, with multiple processing stages that transform raw HTML into production-ready content. The system performs SEO optimization including meta tag injection, automatic image mirroring and WebP conversion, font localization, schema markup injection for rich snippets, and XML/JSON index generation. It also generates sitemaps, RSS feeds, and handles clean URL routing without file extensions. A client-side search engine uses JavaScript with data from a `artikel.json` file and Cloudflare D1 database for fast content discovery.
