GamesDeals is a Discord bot that monitors the GameDeals subreddit and alerts server members whenever games become free or receive a 100% discount. Users can configure the bot to send notifications to specific channels using Discord webhooks, making it easy to stay informed about limited-time gaming deals.
The bot offers flexible filtering options through slash commands, allowing users to receive notifications only for games matching specific keywords (like particular titles or storefronts such as Steam or GOG), or conversely to ignore certain deals. Server administrators can configure the bot to mention specific roles when deals are posted, helping ensure relevant team members see important notifications. The setup process is straightforward—invite the bot, run a single command to create a webhook in the desired channel, and customize filters as needed.
The project is written in TypeScript and designed for easy deployment on Discord servers of any size. It includes a support Discord server for users needing configuration help or having questions about the bot's functionality.
