Giftr is a web application that allows users to create and browse gift registries for special occasions. The platform lets users establish their own registries, view registries created by other users, and search for specific registries by name. Each registry can contain multiple gift items, with each gift displaying a name, thumbnail image, and a purchase link that directs users to where they can buy the item.
The application features a home page where users can choose to create a new registry, browse all existing registries, or search for specific ones. Beyond registry functionality, the site includes a reviews section where users can read feedback from others and submit their own reviews about the platform. The project is built with JavaScript and is hosted on Heroku, making it accessible as a live web application for users to immediately start creating and sharing gift registries.
