Rumel's Rescue is an action game built in JavaScript for the LittleJS Game Jam in December 2024. The game casts you as a motorcycle rider chasing down a truck driven by flannel-clad thieves who have stolen your pet lemur, Rumel. You must navigate your damaged motorcycle through various terrains and obstacles while pursuing the criminals to rescue your companion and bring him home.
Gameplay focuses on dodging hazards and traffic while maintaining pursuit of the truck. Players control the motorcycle primarily through jumping mechanics, using W, Up arrow, or left mouse click to steer away from the left guardrail and navigate obstacles. The game combines elements from classic platformer and action games to create an engaging rescue adventure.
