About 1nfdev/common.css

Common.css is a collection of custom CSS stylesheets designed to enhance the visual appearance of various websites and documentation platforms. The project applies a minimalist aesthetic with carefully curated color palettes to sites like Wikipedia, documentation.gl, kernel.org, Go package documentation, and several technical wikis including Minecraft Wiki and osdev.org. The styles are work-in-progress and created by a single developer for personal use across frequently visited sites.

The project supports two installation methods depending on the target platform. For general websites, users install the Stylus browser extension and then load the appropriate user CSS file from the repository, which automatically checks for updates. For MediaWiki-based platforms like Wikipedia, users can directly copy the CSS code into their wiki account preferences under custom CSS settings. This dual approach makes the styles accessible both to casual browser users and to those with accounts on wiki platforms.

The repository organizes stylesheets by target site, with separate folders for different platforms and services. Each installation option provides a direct link to the corresponding CSS file, making it straightforward to apply the desired style to a specific website. The project appeals to users seeking a more refined visual experience on technical documentation sites and wiki platforms without needing to modify the sites themselves.
