About Ayfri/PokeCards-Collector
PokéCards-Collector is a web application for Pokémon Trading Card Game enthusiasts to browse, search, and manage their TCG collections. Built with SvelteKit on the frontend and Supabase as the backend database, the application provides a modern interface for collectors to track cards they own, record card conditions and quantities, and maintain wishlists of cards they want to acquire. The project is deployed on Cloudflare Pages and uses TypeScript and Tailwind CSS for styling.
The application includes user authentication to keep collections private and personal. Users can search through Pokémon TCG cards with advanced filtering options to discover new cards for their collections. The project also features a robust data management layer, including a built-in CLI tool for scraping and updating Pokémon card data from multiple sources, including the Pokémon TCG API and PokéAPI. The scraper can download card images and generate foil mask URLs for holographic cards, with support for custom CDN hosting of those images.
The codebase is designed to be developer-friendly with clear setup instructions and a modular architecture. Contributors can extend the application by adding new features or improving existing functionality, and the project is open to community contributions under the GNU GPLv3 license.
