Anime Kanri is a C# desktop application designed as a comprehensive video manager tailored for anime fans. The application combines several features into a single interface, including a built-in video player powered by LibVLC, file management capabilities for organizing and browsing video files, and integrated torrent downloading functionality that leverages qBitTorrent's API to simplify content acquisition. Additionally, the app includes MyAnimeList integration that allows users to track their favorite anime directly within the application, connecting to MyAnimeList's official API for seamless synchronization.
The project is currently in transition, with the developer actively reworking the application in Java for improved multi-platform support and other technical advantages. The repository represents the older C# version and is no longer the primary focus of development. The application is designed with extensibility in mind, featuring a plugin system that allows users to add custom functionality and tailor the experience to their specific needs beyond the core features.
