About fpvout/DigiView-Android

DigiView is an Android application that enables live video streaming from DJI FPV Goggles (both V1 and V2 models) to an Android phone via USB connection. The app supports devices running Android 7 and higher with USB Host mode capability, allowing FPV drone pilots to view their goggle feed on a secondary screen. The project includes automatic app launch when the goggles are connected and aims to provide a straightforward streaming solution with minimal setup required.

The app is in beta development and available on the Google Play Store, with an APK release also provided for manual installation. Users simply need to power on their goggles and drone, connect them to their phone via USB cable or OTG adapter, and the video feed should begin streaming automatically. The project uses ExoPlayer for video playback and has involved contributions from multiple developers focused on stability improvements and protocol discovery.

Known limitations include potential compatibility issues with certain USB-C cables, requirements to disable auto temperature control on some goggle models, and optimal performance in 50mbps mode. The developers actively maintain the project and welcome contributions, with a Discord server available for community support and troubleshooting.
