About Soneliem/WAIUA
WAIUA (Who Am I Up Against?) is a Windows desktop application built with C# and WPF that displays real-time information about players in your Valorant matches. The app connects directly to Riot's servers to pull data on your opponents and teammates, showing their current rank, rank progression, recent competitive game statistics, account level, and weapon skin information. It also integrates with Tracker.gg and includes a built-in mini aim trainer, supports all Valorant game modes, and is translated into over 15 languages.
The primary motivation behind WAIUA was to help players identify smurfs and settle debates about opponent skill levels during live matches. The developer deliberately limited features to maintain competitive integrity and avoided including functionality that would provide unfair advantages. The project served as the creator's introduction to .NET development and WPF GUI programming, using RestSharp for API requests and Windows Community Toolkit MVVM for application architecture.
The project is no longer in active development, as noted in its announcement. While the application currently functions because it operates as a standalone tool communicating directly with Riot's servers, future changes to Riot's infrastructure will eventually break its functionality. The source code and installer remain available for users, and the creator maintains a Discord server for community support and known issues tracking.
