About BetterDiscord/BetterDiscord
BetterDiscord is a client modification for the Discord desktop application that extends its functionality with customization options and addons. The project adds new features and capabilities to Discord, allowing users to personalize their experience with plugins, themes, and other enhancements limited only by user creativity.
The installation process is straightforward, with dedicated installers available for Windows 7 and newer, macOS Yosemite and newer, and Linux systems. For users who prefer manual installation or are developing for the project, detailed documentation guides are provided. The addon system allows users to easily download and install plugins and themes from the BetterDiscord website by placing files in a designated folder.

BetterDiscord specifically supports standard local Discord installations and does not work with snap packages, portable versions, or the web version of Discord.
